Verena Young – from Parinama Retreats

Verena Young is a retreat leader, certified Hypnotherapist (CHT, CCHT, CTHT as of April 2023), Spiritual Coach, and an aspiring author. Holding a Master’s degree in Sociology from Bielefeld University, she has a deep understanding of human behavior and social dynamics. Verena’s credentials include a Spiritual Coach certification from the Paracelsus School for Naturopathy in 2013 and an Integrative Health and Nutrition Coach certification from the Institute of Naturopathy in Switzerland in 2018.

Verena is the founder of ‘Soul Quest Ayahuasca Church of Mother Earth’ in Orlando, one of America’s largest plant medicine churches. She played an active leadership role there from July 2018 to January 2023. She founded ‘Parinama Retreats’ in 2023 to offer spiritual immersion retreats encompassing yoga, hypnotherapy, past-life regression, breathwork, and shadow work, often in cooperation with Nirvana Wakes Church to host plant medicine ceremonies like Ayahuasca.

In 2022 and 2023, Verena completed her Yoga Teacher Training (YTT 200 and YTT 300). She also received training in Family Constellation from the Hellinger Institute in Toronto and is certified in Addiction Recovery and Psycho-Spiritual Integration from ‘Being True to You’. As a Reconnective Healing practitioner, Verena brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique blend of tools for personal development to her retreats.

Verena has a profound love for the ocean and waves, often finding peace and inspiration in their presence. She enjoys guiding others on transformative hypnotherapy journeys, facilitating personal growth and change. In her free time, Verena loves to cook, organize events, and embark on meditative journeys – all reflecting her passion for nurturing and bringing people together.

In 2021, Verena deepened her spiritual understanding through a journey to Peru to learn from the Huni Kuin tribe. In 2023, she further enriched her yoga skills, studying Ashtanga yoga in Mysore, India, at the Yoga Vedanta Shala and at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram in Kerala.

Verena is currently working on her first book, ‘Healing the Echoes of Yesterday’, mirroring her dedication to helping others heal and grow through self-discovery.
